About Us

County Cork was founded in 2004 with a simple idea

We wanted a store that sold the items that reflected what was most important to us ~ home and family. As we seek new products or create events for our customers we always return to that idea ~ to help you celebrate your home and your family. Our store is located in a 100 year old farmhouse just outside of Merrill, Oregon. You will love exploring the historic home and seeing our vast selection.

Although we seek out items made in the USA, we work hard to find the best products from around the world. When items cannot be made in the USA, we seek out companies whose philosophy is similar to ours and who support and encourage the independent retailer.

Each year we sponsor a variety of events for our customers

Farm Fair - Held on the 2nd Saturday in July, this event showcases the artisans and farmers in our area. We fill our yard with local vendors selling hand-made items, antiques, art and vegetables ~ come spend a summer Saturday in the country!
Farmhouse Christmas - Held on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, this is our big Christmas open house. We pull out all the stops to convert our store and surrounding buildings into a Christmas wonderland.
Spring Open House - Held on the first Saturday in April, we proudly showcase all the fantastic new products we have found for spring and summer. With any luck, we'll have a beautiful day to inspire us for spring decorating and summer planning.
In addition to our annual events

We host a variety of events each year for our customers. Whether you want to book a private shopping party or an event to raise money for a local charity ~ we can help! Call the store for more information or to schedule an event.
